August in Texas means that it's hot, hot, HOT!! We stayed cool by playing in the pool, playing inside, and by going to the BEACH! What a fun time for everyone!

 "Hi y'all, just a quick update from Evelyn... I can't quite walk by myself yet, but I get around really quickly, and I like to get into everything! I am a bit of a selective eater, but I just like to think that I know what I like. If those big people could only guess what that is...Good thing I change my favorites from day to day!"

Flashlight Fun at Camping Day

Mrs. Kristin was one of Lilly's very special teachers this year.

 

 Mrs. Ruth and Mrs. Marjeta were Evelyn's first teachers! God definitely picked the most amazing people to teach our girls this year.

  

Daddy surprised us with a beach weekend vacation in Port Aransas. Beach time is the best!

 Breakfast in bed was a great way to end the trip. Such a wonderful vacation, and a sweet time with our family.

This July, we traveled to North Carolina to celebrate the Fourth with Nana and so many, many family members. It was an incredibly special time, and it was Lilly and Evelyn's first plane ride! Here are some of the highlights.

We decided to extend the holiday weekend fun by going to Brenham to the Southern Flyer Diner.
